Hi friends …
The D-day of the exam is nearing… first
Sunday of April 2014 isn’t it ???
By now you must almost be done with the whole
syllabus and revision of some part of it. It’s high time to strategise your
studies and trust me if done rightly, it can increase your score by 90-100% !
Let me share with you as to what I did well……..
From now on till the day of the exam… think
study , eat study, drink study and even dream studies.
3) Your study plan should be in accordance to the goal you have …..This will help you allocate the remaining hrs of study appropriately
4) Concentration:
2) Study continuously all the time …with frequent (once in two hrs)5 min breaks….. or you can study longer and take a longer break (3 hrs study and 20 min break) Ensure the breaks are not very extended ..else they will eat into your study time and you won’t even know..
3) Fast Revision:
Bahut jaruri hai… Read
out loud or walk and read.. take a bath…change the place of study…change your T
shirt… but make sure you are concentrating near 100 % all the time.
If you feel
in morning you cant concentrate, than stretch your study hrs to late night… better use a table lamp so that even if you look
up, even a lizard won’t be visible to distract you and there would be an induced concentration and hence you will be forced to look back into your books.
5) Start
believing in yourself.
If you convince your
mind that your are bound to be successful. Half the battle is over.
In next few months even though you try hard, you are bound to go through lean patches….but don’t give up… Most of the
successful people we come across have not experienced a joy ride from there birth to top of the world… they also encountered situations where an inner voice
says “ leave it…chuck it…I can’t do it…”
These successful guys were successful because they overcame this “inner voice” and continued fighting. Most people believe that successful people are “just lucky or extra talented”. No..they are not extra talented…they are Mad..mad for their goal..!!!!
6) Keep yourself away from distractions, Smart phones, Facebook, Twitter, cricket ( anyways cricket is
retiring...)
1) Make a complete Time bound plan till 3 April 2014.
Now About Actual Study...........
So that you cover all topics properly and tie all loose ends. Make sure you allot appropriate time to theory revision, Problem solving and board pattern study. (Hamare Time board marks were not important)
Study from your notes for
fast revision, just go on reading formulae and absorb them. This way you will remember
the entire topic and can cover many a chapter.
4) Sums: You must have marked a lot of sums
as suggested by your teachers for revision..go through the same.
5) Mini Exam: Take 10-20 questions & set the
time ( 20-30min) and solve….then uspe
gaur karo ,ki kaise solve kiya kaise answer aya…isse ap us tarike ka aur sawal
bhi kar paoge. Aise at least 4-5 mini exams karo….
Benefits of mini exams: You gain exam skills as well as conceptual skills. Efficiency is 101% as you don’t
tend to leave study table. After every mini exam , analyse it for various
mistakes (selecting wrong problems, silly mistakes etc, undue pressure,
breakdown because of 2-3 wrong problems in a row etc) rectify in next mini ….
6) Board study is a must
Study board topics and then solve JEE level questions.
7) Select 80% topics for higher level . Rest 20% just
for basics …even AIR 1 doesn’t do all topics. Let difficult topics scare those who want to do PHD in 100% PCM topics..you just get away with good rank by smart plans.

Usually students waste 40-50% time on difficult topics (20% topics are difficult) and get either zero or negative marks in JEE on attempting such questions. Students mostly have a mental block regarding these difficult topics, so it would be better if you paid less attention on them and focused on solving the questions based on easier topics in the JEE exam.
8) Studies should be time bound,
rather than concept bound..That will put more pressure.. you can't waste time.
9) You could try studying in groups but
strictly define your rules (discussions should happen during stipulated time
intervals ONLY)
SO FRIENDS MAKE USE OF THESE TIPS AND HOPE TO SEE TONNES OF JEE RANKS POST READING THIS :)
